Descenders: A Fast-Paced Extreme Downhill Biking Game
Descenders, developed by RageSquid, is an extreme downhill biking game available on Nintendo Switch. The game is easy to pick up, but difficult to master, offering procedurally generated worlds with different jumps, slopes, and hillbombs every time you play.
The game features freestyle bike controls, allowing the player to control every subtle movement of their rider with an in-depth physics system made for slick whips and scrubs. Players can push their rider for massive scores and combos, but must also be aware of the risk vs reward factor. Bailing too many times can result in losing it all.
One of the unique features of Descenders is the fully-featured online Rep system. Players can pick a team - Enemy, Arboreal, or Kinetic - and earn Rep points to show off their worth and earn new bikes and threads. The goal is to become the next Descender by surviving the game in a single run and reaching the ranks of the legendary Descenders.
